8 steps to quick start your home
8 Steps
The Eight Homes journey takes the guesswork out of building your new home, because we are with you every step of the way. We also know it’s a very personal journey, which you want to navigate with ease and peace-of-mind to ensure your new home suits your lifestyle and perfectly reflects who you are.
Step 1. Sales information session
Step 2. Walk through
We will take you on a guided walk through of our display homes, help you build your wish list and show you options including façade alternatives. This is all in preparation for your Home Proposal – please book in a catch up with your Sales Consultant after your Walk Through.
Step 3. Finance
Our finance partner Park Group, will call you to provide a no obligation finance qualification in order to understand or confirm your borrowing capacity.
Please note, a finance qualification from Park Group is required in order to continue with your journey.
Step 4. Home Proposal
a) You will be presented with a sales estimate, containing options you have selected for your home. We will provide a siting of your new home on your block and finalise any further options.
b) At this stage, you will need to pay a preliminary fee of $888. This fee will secure a site start month as well as pricing, provided your final sales sign off (step 5) occurs within 21 days from receipt of the preliminary fee. Once paid, we will be able to prepare an itemised, fixed price quote.
Step 5. Sales completion appointment
This appointment is to finalise your sales paperwork and accept your fixed price sales quote. Your Sales Consultant will walk you through the documents and answer any questions you may have. Once completed you will also need to pay your secondary instalment fee.
Step 6. Intro call
A member of our team from head office will call you to introduce themselves as your dedicated Pre-Site Client Manager. They will be your point of contact throughout your pre-site journey and will be able to answer any questions you have.
They will send you a complete Info Pack for you to read in preparation for your Contract Appointment and confirm any other information or details we need from you.
Step 7. Contract Appointment
At your Contract Appointment you will be presented with your fixed price tender document and a full set of your house plans including siting on your block. A contract deposit is payable at this appointment.
Step 8. Ready to start building
If your land is titled, at this stage we will begin applying for the appropriate documents to obtain a building permit.
Site works generally begin within 7-10 working days, from receipt of building permit. You will receive an introductory call from your On-Site Client Manager who will provide you with regular correspondence throughout the construction of your new home.
Congratulations! Let’s start building your new home.
Timing is based on colours selected at sales (no colour appointment). Site start is subject to land title and finance availability.
