The Eight Homes journey takes the guesswork out of building your new home, because we are with you every step of the way. We also know it’s a very personal journey, which you want to navigate with ease and peace-of-mind to ensure your new home suits your lifestyle and perfectly reflects who you are.
We’ll guide you through everything you need to know about building with Eight Homes. Explore our display homes, define your wish list and review façade and design options.
Our finance partner will also contact you for a no-obligation assessment of your borrowing capacity. Our finance partner will call you to provide a non-obligation finance qualification to understand or confirm your borrowing capacity.
You’ll receive your Sales Advice outlining your selected home, inclusions and preliminary siting.
A $888 preliminary fee secures your site start month and pricing (valid if Sales Advice is signed within 21 days).
Finalise your selections and paperwork with your Sales Consultant. They will guide you through each document, explain the details, and answer any questions you have.
Once signed, your secondary fee is paid to move forward.
Your dedicated Client Manager will introduce themselves as your main point of contact throughout your journey with us.
You’ll also receive a complete Info Pack to help you prepare for upcoming appointments, along with confirmation of any additional details we need from you.
Your Contract Documentation will include your Master Builders Contract, Tender document, Colour Selections and Standard Drawings.
Upon signing your contract, we will obtain your Home Warranty Insurance.
A Contract Deposit will be payable once the insurance policy is in place.
At this appointment you will be presented with your working drawings.
This includes your home sited on your block of land and all your selected inclusions.
If your land is titled, at this stage we will begin applying for the appropriate documents to obtain a building permit.
This includes ordering soil and site survey, developer approvals, energy rating assessments, engineering, and any additional approvals required through approving authorities.
As a final quality check, we’ll send all documents to our suppliers for review.
This ensures all necessary items are captured prior to commencement of construction.
From signing off your Final Document Pack, site works generally begin within 7-10 working days.
From here, we can begin building your new home!
Timing is based on colours selected at sales (no colour appointment). Site start is subject to land title and finance availability.
